Two years building generative-AI systems in production: retrieval pipelines over ten-thousand-document corpora, multi-agent workflows, and the FastAPI services behind them. Then Vignova, an AI career platform whose agentic workflow completes job applications end to end and whose orchestration layer routes across three model providers to hold down cost and latency. SignalDart is that same engineering pointed at market research — the hard part is reading many messy sources and reconciling them into something you can act on, which is the problem I have spent my career on.
Why we are building it
Every founder validates an idea the same way: twenty browser tabs, a spreadsheet, and a week later a hunch they cannot check. The tools meant to help hand you raw data and leave the synthesis to you, which is the hard part and the part that decides whether you build the right thing.
What made us build it rather than complain about it was noticing that every tool in the category is structurally incapable of telling you no. They are built to surface opportunities, so they surface one every time. That makes a positive result worthless, because it was never capable of being anything else.
How we work
- Cited beats confident. Every figure carries the page it was read from and the time it was read. A number nothing measured is shown as unmeasured, never as a zero.
- We ship the unflattering result. The product returns verdicts like “crowded market” when that is what the evidence says.
- We do not claim what we have not earned. No security certifications we do not hold, no customer logos we do not have, no traction numbers we cannot evidence.
