See what your competitors charge, and when it changes
SignalDart reads each competitor's pricing page and lays the plans side by side: price points, billing periods, free tiers and what each plan includes. With monitoring on, it checks those pages daily and tells you when a competitor raises a price, adds a tier or removes a free plan.

Why pricing research goes stale so quickly
Pricing is the part of a competitor's strategy that changes most often and is announced least. A plan quietly disappears, a free tier gets a lower cap, an annual discount changes. A pricing spreadsheet built at launch is out of date within a quarter.
Pricing pages are also hard to compare. One competitor charges per seat, another per project, a third has usage limits buried in a footnote. Seeing the price ceiling in your market means normalizing all of that.

- 01
Read each pricing page in full
Pages are rendered like a browser would, so prices loaded by JavaScript and plan toggles are captured, not just the page's meta description.
- 02
Extract plans into one structure
Plan names, prices, billing periods, free tiers and headline limits are pulled into a common format so competitors can be compared directly.
- 03
Watch for changes
With monitoring on, the pages are re-checked daily. A change shows as an alert with the before and after values and a link to the page.

What it does not do
Research you act on should tell you where it stops. These are the limits, stated up front.
- Price change alerts need monitoring, which is on paid plans: 1 market on Starter, 3 on Professional, 8 on Agency and 25 on Enterprise. The Free plan includes a one-time pricing comparison in its research report.
- “Contact sales” pricing cannot be read from a page, and is shown as undisclosed rather than guessed.
- Pricing behind a login or shown only in a checkout flow is not captured.
Frequently asked questions
How do I track competitor price changes?
Turn on monitoring for a project. SignalDart re-checks competitors' pricing pages every day and alerts you with the old and new values when a price, plan or limit changes.
How often is competitor pricing checked?
Once a day for monitored projects. Research reports on any plan include a one-time pricing comparison taken when the research ran.
What if a competitor hides its pricing?
SignalDart records the pricing as undisclosed rather than estimating it. You still see the competitor's plans and features where they are public.
Does it work for usage-based or per-seat pricing?
Yes. The extraction keeps the unit the competitor charges by, so per-seat, per-project and usage-based plans can be compared with that difference visible.
