Validate the idea.
Then watch the market.
SignalDart is an AI-powered startup market research and competitor intelligence platform. It finds your real competitors, reads their pricing and features, and measures what buyers are actually searching for, then keeps watching, so you hear it first when a rival changes price, ships a feature, or raises funding.

A market you researched six months ago is a market you no longer understand. The monitoring half is only useful because the research half decided what to watch.

Competitor pricing analysis →Find market gaps
Compares what competitors offer with what customers ask for, and scores each unmet need by impact and effort.
Market gap analysis →Understand search demand
Measures how many people search for the problem, how hard each keyword is to rank for, and the gaps competitors missed.
Keyword research for startups →Monitor competitors
Agents check competitors every day for pricing changes, product launches, funding and hiring, and alert you with the evidence.
Competitor monitoring →Generate market research reports

How SignalDart works.
From a one-line idea to a cited answer about the market, in five steps.
- 01
Describe your startup idea
One specific sentence, such as “software that automates phone orders for takeaway restaurants”. The more specific it is, the more accurate the research.
- 02
SignalDart researches the market
AI agents search the web, crawl the sites they find and pull search data for your market. A full run usually takes a few minutes.
- 03
It identifies your competitors
Direct and indirect competitors, ranked by how closely they serve your customer, not padded with unrelated giants.
- 04
It analyzes pricing, features and search demand
Plans and prices from each competitor's own pricing page, their features side by side, and how many people search for the problem.
- 05
It shows the gaps and the opportunity
Scored market gaps, an Opportunity Score from 0 to 100 and a plain verdict, with a source behind every number. Then monitoring keeps watching.
The documentation explains each engine and score, and the guide to validating a startup idea walks through the same method by hand. New here? Read what SignalDart is and why it exists.
Nothing here is invented.
Every figure in a SignalDart report traces back to a page that was read or a provider that was queried, with the URL and the timestamp attached. If a source was unreachable, the report says so instead of filling the gap.
Competitor websites
Homepages, pricing, feature and changelog pages, rendered and read in full, not just the meta description.
Search engines
Who ranks for the terms your buyers type, and how hard those positions are to take.
Keyword databases
Monthly search volume, difficulty and cost-per-click for every term in your market.
Review platforms
Ratings and review counts, so you can see who customers are actually unhappy with.
News and press
Funding rounds, launches and pivots as they are announced, tied back to the competitor they affect.
Hiring signals
Open roles reveal roadmaps months early. A rival staffing a mobile team is telling you something.

Built for the people building the future.
We're looking for a first group of founders to build this with. If one of these sounds like you, we'd like you in it.
Solo founders
You have an idea and a browser with forty tabs open. You're trying to work out whether the space is already crowded before you spend six months building.
Map the real competitors and find where the gaps are, in an afternoon, not a fortnight.
Small product teams
You're shipping fast and a competitor just changed their pricing, launched a feature, or raised a round, and you found out from a customer.
Keep a standing watch on the market so the moves reach you before they reach your customers.
Operators and consultants
You need a defensible market read for a board deck, an investor update, or a client, and you need to show where every number came from.
Generate a cited, exportable report with the evidence trail attached.
Doing the research yourself?

I built SignalDart because I kept doing the same week of work by hand. Twenty tabs, a spreadsheet, and at the end of it a hunch I could not check and would not trust a month later.
What decided it was noticing that every tool in this category is structurally incapable of telling you no. They exist to surface opportunities, so they surface one every time, which makes a positive result meaningless. The hard version, and the one worth building, is a tool that scores competition next to opportunity and returns “crowded market” when that is what the evidence says.
It is early. There are rough edges, we hold no security certifications yet, and some fields come back unmeasured because no provider could measure them. I would rather tell you that now than have you find out in week three.
If you are validating something and you want the unflattering answer as readily as the encouraging one, I would like you in the first group.

Questions about SignalDart, answered.
SignalDart is an AI-powered startup market research and competitor intelligence platform. Founders use it to validate a startup idea, analyze competitors and their pricing, find market gaps, check search demand and monitor rivals, with a source behind every number.
You describe your startup idea in one sentence. SignalDart finds your real competitors, reads their websites for pricing and features, measures search demand for your market, and returns a scored verdict on whether the opportunity is worth pursuing, with a source link behind every figure.
Those tools give you raw data across a dozen dashboards and leave the thinking to you. SignalDart runs autonomous agents that gather competitors, SEO, pricing, funding and feature gaps, then synthesises them into one cited answer with a clear recommendation. It is intelligence, not just data.
A language model answers from training data and cannot tell you what a competitor charges today. SignalDart fetches the page, records when it was read, and cites the URL. It also re-checks on a schedule, so you find out when a competitor changes pricing or ships a feature.
Live web research. Competitor pricing and features come from crawling their actual sites, search volume and keyword difficulty from an SEO data provider, funding and launches from news search, and ratings from public review platforms. Anything no provider could measure is reported as unmeasured rather than estimated.
Yes. SignalDart scores competition and rankability alongside opportunity, and returns verdicts like ‘Crowded market: established competitors already cover what users want’. A tool that only ever finds opportunities is not research.
Every insight is grounded in a source the agents actually read, and cited inline with the time it was observed. Direct competitors are ranked by genuine relevance. We never pad the list with unrelated giants just to fill space.
Minutes, not days. Competitor discovery, site crawling, SEO analysis, market-gap scoring and the written report all run as a single pipeline.
Yes. Once a project is live, agents re-check it on a schedule and alert you when a competitor raises prices, ships a feature, raises funding or starts hiring for a new product line.
You can research one idea in full with the Idea Pass, a one-time $4.99 payment covering one project, your top 5 competitors and a report. Monthly plans start at $39 a month for Starter, which adds 15 research runs a month and continuous monitoring on one market; Professional is $99 with 40 runs and 3 monitored markets. Agency and Enterprise plans cover larger volumes.
Your research is private to your workspace and is never used to train shared models. We hold no third-party security certifications yet. SOC 2 and ISO 27001 are on the roadmap, and we will not claim them until an auditor signs off.
Not for customers yet. An API, webhooks and team workspaces are being built, and we will announce them in the changelog when they open. Until then, every report exports to PDF, PowerPoint, HTML, Markdown or Notion.
Stop guessing. Start building what the market actually wants.
